Today, Jews have to soak meat in salt and cleanse as much blood as possible before it to be eaten. Transfusions are okay. Witnesses do this backwards...don't ask or bother about meat...but Transfusions are banned.

Also in my last Cong. I was working back stage at the circuit assembly and I heard 3rd generation Elders sons who were Pioneers using racial terms when talking about brothers in the audience.. I was 18 and it blew me away...at the assembly no less.

White Elders wife said to my wife in a joke type way: "I can't believe my sister is marrying a nigger." My wife is ethnic/european and was highly offended...I stood there like a stunned rabbit...we are in a mainly 95% white congregation. Brothers would turn away when you aproached them. One brother would shake my hamd with enthusiasm...then if I ask him "hows your family" he would look at someone else and excuse himself and leave...many times!! This is definatley the worst cong. I have ever been in. People we invited to dinner 20-30, yet no one calls you over even for a coffee. My wife doesn't get invited to "white" sister night outs. I have slowly grown to hate them all. I never cared much...but my wife wants friends. In the end I just left. My wife is carying on.

by snowbird inthe nwt rendering of this scripture has always irritated me: psalm 10:4the wicked one according to his superciliousness makes no search;.
all his ideas are: there is no god.. why select a 16-letter word when all other english translations use pride/haughtiness of his face/countenance?
i used to cringe whenever this psalm came up for the bible reading because superciliousness was almost always mispronounced.

Acts 15 doesn't say "abstain ye from blood, and fornication and ye things strangled, while ye fractions shall ye be a conscience matter before the Lord." Why come down so hard on fornication no touch or oral yet the blood law is made less strict.

That same yearbook 75 p.223 says regarding :"Watchtower 7/1 1945. "The Christian stand on blood Transfusions had now been CLEARLY defined."
No it wasn't! What about all the changes since then...most blood products now are a "conscince matter." So many changes!!
